Review of High Plains Drifter (1973) by William D — 18 Feb 2010
Clint Eastwood at his best playing his role as the man with no name! a stranger that comes to the town of lago seeking vegence for a sheriff who was unlawfully whipped to death in the street by three murderers as the whole town watches and does nothing! as the story plays out the town of lago needs a gunfighter to protect them from the returning murderers who have recently been let out of jail, the stranger accepts there offer keeping in mind of there betrayel and cowardly actions as he starts to stir things up and drive the whole town crazy, the result is a classic eastwood western with plenty of twists, action and humour, my all time favourite movie!
