Review of High Plains Drifter (1973) by Peter P — 20 Aug 2010
Good Clint Eastwood western that is a little shocking, mainly cause Clints character rapes a woman not only once, but twice, which I guess people had no problem with at the time cause half way through the act they started to enjoy it? But to me it just seemed wrong.
That aside, Drifter is a pretty cool tale about revenge and doing the right thing. Sometimes, the devil you know is better then the one you don't, and this is one of those cases. They hire him to save the town, and instead he dooms it on purpose, revenge is a dish best served red I guess, and remember, always mark a grave.
