Review of High Fidelity (2000) by Kirsty F — 05 Feb 2010
One of the best big screen adaptations of a book possibly in the history of the universe - despite the fact that they moved the story thousands of miles across the sea to the U.S of A. I am a big music fan so the book and film appealed to me but I don't see any reason why a non-music fan wouldn't still enjoy it.
At it's heart the story is still about relationships. John Cusack plays the central character brilliantly and Jack Black is hilarious, some of the one-liners he has in the film are really funny.
