Review of High Fidelity (2000) by Devarsi G — 09 Aug 2010
High Fidelity is a really cool romance comedy basically about music and relationships. I figured it'd be up my alley when I saw the vinyl on the cover. It made me really badly want to own a record store.
But anyways, the performances, direction, screenplay, and style are all very well done. It captures the nature of romance in a light-hearted yet slightly pessimistic way, just the way I like it. Oh, and born rocker Jack Black rules in it, which is just the cherry on top.
Pretty awesome, rockin' flick.
