Sex, heroin, art, lesbians. But it's not as seedy as it sounds - far from it. There is a touching, genuine element to the relationship between Radha Mitchell and Ally Sheedy - new experience for Radha, not for Ally.
(Well, their characters.) I thought the ending sucked big time, but it didn't ruin the movie for me.
