Review of High Art (1998) by Vanessa C — 25 Jan 2008
This is a film that takes a while to get going. it is worth the wait. sheedy is at first a little grating but she eventually and successfully captures her character's fragility and capacity to love despite the women that have shaped her in to a reclusive drug addled artist.
mitchell is a captivating muse and clarkson is wonderful as the euro-trash heroin addicted actress that shares sheedy's bed at the film's beginning.
