Review of High and Low (1933) by David I — 08 Jun 2008
This is one of the most exciting and yet beautiful films I have ever seen. There is not a moment that does not keep the viewer on the edge of their seat and yet it is packed with questions of morality assisted greatly in their impact by Mifune's fantastic performance.
Also the cinematography is wonderful.
