Review of High and Low (1933) by Manny C — 03 May 2010
One of Kurosawa's least talked about films but definitely one of the greatest. But then again, did Kurosawa ever make a bad film. the whole movie is astonishing. The first hour alone takes place entirely in one room, but don't be fooled.
This one grabs you and doesn't let go until it's over.
