There's something unerringly creepy about five middle-aged men getting together to discuss the fashion appeal of ladies' shoes. But that's just the opening scene. Tengoku to Jigoku is a riveting crime drama that is not as dated as I had expected it to be.
One of my favorites from Kurosawa.
