I loved this film. I know plenty of my friends would hate it, but it struck a chord with me having been dragged around the world as a kid by our parents too.. the wild optimism, the unrealistic dreams, the passions, the feverous strangeness of a new land, the lostness in traveling, the abandonment of home and country, the understanding of a new culture and people, the vacant feeling of home in a strangers land.
