Does everything a great movie should. You feel taken away by the excellent cast and cinematography coalesced to produce a willful movement of emotions in me that I would call true escapism. You really feel the push back of will for this trio of female characters in this segregationist culture. The male dominated workplace displays both overt and subversive racism. Occasionally jarring, moving and very engaging. Watching this reminded me of how powerful an effect a decent film production can have on an audience.
