Review of Hidden Figures (2016) by Ricochet84 — 15 Jan 2017
If you like movies that are based on facts, historical events and figures, then you will like this as I did. I gave it a resounding 10 because it did well in reenacting the vital contributions made by 3 female Mathematicians towards the "Race to Space" time period.
It also did well in demonstrating the institutional racism the mathematicians faced as employees of a federal agency in a newly segregated era. There were times I laughed, and cried-sometimes at the same time.
Great writing, great acting, great movie.
