Review of Hidden Figures (2016) by Ratedrex — 23 Jan 2017
"Hidden Figures"? It is a nicely paced, warm and fuzzy, uplifting story with outstanding performances, especially from Janelle Monae. This isn't quite classic. It sometimes has the feel of a made-for-TV movie.
But in spite of the few hiccups, the history lesson, alone, is worth the price of admission. In a year that really wasn't that great, artistically, I think "Hidden Figures" is the best movie of the year.
