Review of Hidalgo (2004) by Robert N — 26 Jan 2009
Love Viggo but had heard pretty average things about this adventure yarn... but surprise, surprise, I loved it. It's real boys own adventure/ Saturday matinee stuff, rousingly done with a great cast, some fantastic cinematography and an epic but fun story which is in itself a great ride.
Fabulous to see Omar Sharif on screen again too, looking like he has a 'picture of Dorian Gray' hidden away in his tent somewhere!
