Review of Hidalgo (2004) by Ally G — 15 Jun 2009
While watching this movie, I thought of Last Samurai, the Mummy, and Indiana Jones mixed together. This was a pretty solid film that was definitely underrated. Nice story of a man and his best friend, his horse.
BUT, for some reason it didn't have that "spark" to make it classic. It felt like it was holding back/on cruise control instead of a steady ongoing flow...if that makes ANY sense. laid back, maybe.
I dont know.
