Whilst I'm on my high horse about 'Hereafter', here's another film that was panned but is actually great. It gets 2 stars in the The Radio Times but deserves 5. We need reviewers that will credit on entertainment value.
There's too much of 'the emperors clothes' in reviews. Don't hand out plaudits simply because they're foreign, or in black and white. Unreliable reviews are worse than none at all.
