Review of Heyy Babyy (2007) by Nived N — 20 Oct 2009
Heyy Babyy is just like 80's style of film-making. The film is remake of ''3 men and a baby'' even though the hindi version was enjoyable, there are some many hiccups which makes it an exhausting watch.
SAJID KHAN targeted family audience to see the film but how can he use double-meaning scenes with cheap sex-jokes, Does he have any idea how uncomfortable parents can feel while watching the film with their kids.
Acting is half-convincing, barring AKSHAY KUMAR, Rest cast fails to make an impact. VIDYA BALAN, who shares a bundle of talent is saddled with a role which doesn't give her scope to perform. Even if she perform she is cold and distant.
FARDEEN KHAN is not at all in form, where is his superb comic timing in NO-ENTRY? while RITEISH DESHMUKH manages to provide few laugh. The worst thing is that, emotion is absent. However, Music by SHANKAR-EHSAAN-LOY is catchy.
SAJID KHAN is the person who used to poke fun of actors who hams and criticize the scenes of old hindi films, Sadly, he uses the same old-formula to make a film.
