Mostly watchable for the performances, but the direction and writing are pretty tight, too. The almost-too-strictly-metal soundtrack deters the more emotional moments from reaching an apex, and sometimes the dark humor goes over the top and stops being funny (especially in a head-scratch-inducing poolside scene), but it moves by breezily and entertainingly enough to satisfy most people.
