Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Tony Leung, Maggie Cheung, Chen Daoming. they all are absolutely best cast, very good acting, not bad storyline. But Zhang Yimou put this good film into a revolutionary model opera type.
If another director, the film may be much better. one more thing, I don't like Zhang Ziyi's exaggerated performances.
