Review of Hero (2012) by Dov D — 23 May 2013
Yimou Zhang's tale about love, honor, and the greater good transcends all preconceived notions of what a film can be. The acting is incredible, the direction phenomenal, and the visual aesthetics unparalleled.
Everything about this movie will leave you breathless and wanting more. This film has furthered my case for the best films no longer being made in America. Bottom line, unless you are someone who cannot bare subtitles, Hero is a must see for any and all audiences.
