Review of Hereditary (2018) by Sumaita H — 22 Jun 2018
I am a huge fan of horror, and this film is one of the scariest I have seen. It is scary in the sense that it unsettles you deeply, getting under your skin. It is all the more scarier because it deals with human subjects, human emotions, and real human practices.
The scenes are surprising and Toni Colette's performance is impeccable. We believe every word she says. The cast itself does an excellent job of helping the plot move forward. The direction and cinematography is original, striking, and beautiful.
This is one of my favorites for sure!
