Review of Hereditary (2018) by Cole W — 24 Jun 2018
Though I'm not sure if it's the scariest movie of the century, Hereditary is undoubtedly disturbing and unsettling. I don't think it had a single jumpscare in it, yet it leaves more of a haunting impression than most horror movies these days.
It also has really good performances in it, especially from Toni Collette and impressive direction from Ari Aster, who has a bright future ahead of him considering this is just his first movie.
