Review of Hereditary (2018) by Tarquin J — 14 Jun 2018
This movie is very much a family drama at its heart. It's horrifying and intense and heartwrenching. It's well acted and incredibly well executed. But you need to come to this movie with the same open heart you'd bring to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest or The Shawshank Redemption or Whiplash.
If you can take a moment to relate to the characters (which isn't hard, because the performances are pretty excellent), you'll really "enjoy" this movie.
