Review of Hereditary (2018) by Christopher G — 17 Jun 2018
I'm a fan of the modern arthouse horror trend because they try new things. Hereditary eschews jump scares for the most part in favor of a sense of foreboding creepiness that escalates over the tragedies of a single family.
It reminded me most of Rosemary's Baby in that sense. Those looking for a traditional horror movie may be disappointed, but some of the imagery from this movie will stay with me for a while.
