Not sure I dug the ending- but this is a superior horror film- very well acted- especially Toni Collete. The sad part is- she probably won't even get a nomination for her incredible performance. The movie is effectively creepy enough and I probably will have to sit through it again- but there is enough here to notice.
Part ghost story, part occult mystery- it has one great shock and then a whole bunch of small shocks. The unraveling of a family under the threat of possession and legacy. Original enough and well directed enough.
