Review of Hereafter (2010) by Petri L — 19 Mar 2012
This was indeed a slow paced drama but had to be in order to convey all it needed to. Loved the character development as well as each of the characters; the lead up as to how they eventually intertwined in each others lives playing significant parts was well done - the course of the movie is basically an unraveling of who each person is and their quest for much needed answers (to which I could understand) after the events in their lives that forever changed what were thought to be predictable.
Although this movie is thought of as supernatural, it is more of a drama about the subject as Matt Damon's character is a character running from his psychic abilities. Matt Damon is an incredible actor as it is and played his role so well.
...I loved all of the characters but especially touching were the 2 young boys although their roles were not as large - yet so meaningful...A very thought provoking movie to which will leaving you thinking so much about many things that are.
.that will be.....and are yet to come.
