Review of Here on Earth (2000) by Paul B — 11 Jun 2007
Pretty average teen romance really. The concept of death is of course always a good way to tug at the heartstrings; but its not like its a particularly original idea. And the fact that the we're supposed to be affected by the two main characters after they both completely screw over Josh Hartnett's character acts as a pretty good emotional shield too.
There's nothing really new here, and it relies too much on eye candy rather than characters the audience can really care about.
