Review of Here Comes the Devil (2012) by Kevin G — 24 Jan 2014

It was interesting and it had a very unusual directing style. Which made the story a little bit more suspenseful even though not much was revealed. The horror part wasn't scary but intriguing and a little more successful than I thought it would be.

What I disliked was how strange the characters were and they way they reacted to what was happening, seemed very unreal. Also the sexual situations, because they felt very in your face and unnecessary.

And finally, the acting was weak in the beginning and in some other scenes, but overall it was good. It was a little better than I thought it would be overall and it was a step up from other Mexican-Horror movies, but still it wasn't nothing that blew me away or that changed my view of horror movies.
