OK does this movie say anything new in the I'm helping the schoolkids get inspired category of movies? Not really, but that doesn't mean it is not entertaining. I've always been torn on Kevin James as an actor because I've never found him to be very funny but he always comes off as a nice guy who would help you out if you needed it so this movie perfectly showed that off.

Henry Winkler was a treat as the music teacher whom Mr. James character was helping via saving the music program and thus his job. Yes the movie could have been funnier but considering the actual story I think it struck a fairly good balance between light-hearted comedy and drama.

It probably won't win a ton of awards in the end but it has a nice positive message which the family can enjoy.
