Review of Here Comes the Boom (2012) by Matt A — 05 Jul 2013
Very formulaic comedy, thats like a distance relative to the far superior Warrior. But saying that it is a comedy and should be remembered that although its very unrealistic ending it does bring a smile to the face by the time the end credits roll.
Kevin James is likeable in this as a teacher who is bored of his job but then gets a new found boost when a close friends job is on the brink of being cut. The fights are good, but there are a few characters that arent fleshed out as much as I would of liked.
But still a good film, worth a watch.
