Review of Here Comes the Boom (2012) by Chuck B — 31 Dec 2013
A silly version of the MMA movie Warrior. This is not one of Kevin James best movies, but you got to like its heart and overall message. The fights are enjoyable and you are rooting for James, but being an MMA fan I can tell you this movie is not realistic.
I like that they put the struggles of the school on both the teachers and the budget shortfalls. It reminds us that teachers that inspire students is more important than just throwing money at classrooms.
I give the movie credit for being clean and having an uplifting message.
