Review of Here Comes the Boom (2012) by Najd G — 19 Sep 2014
If you set your expectations low enough, sometimes even a Happy Madison Production can surprise you. It happened with the "Zohan," and now here comes the "Boom.".
While the plot was painfully predictable and the relationship between James and Sayek was as believable as pro wrestling, I was pleasantly surprised at the mild level of intelligence that the story espoused. The ending didn't pack a punch, but like James' character, the story had just enough durability to be worth a B-spot on the undercard.
