It really says something that Hollywood is digging into the ancient hallowed archives of Rankin/Bass to plunder/rework/tart up past glories. Like many, this has been recently remade, and like many, they shouldn't have bothered trying.
With Vincent Price as Irontail, Danny Kaye as narrator/Mr Sassafrass and Kasey Kasum (!) as Peter, this is the one to watch.
