Review of Hercules (2014) by Bradysmith — 07 Nov 2014

It's a fun movie. It doesn't aim especially high. It's not spectacular in any sense of the word, but it accomplishes what it sets out to do sufficiently well. The fights and battles are fun, and involving, and The Rock was a solid choice to play Hercules.

It doesn't take itself especially seriously, which helps since it's not aiming for awards level filmmaking. That's not to say that it's cheesy. The effects and action are all solid. It just isn't really a piece of grade A craftsmanship.

Still though, it's fun, and if you're in the mood for a solid action adventure, it's worth a look.
