This is like a Disney animated film trying to be hipster with pop culture references. The movie has its moments which are genuinely entertaining and to see Disney attempt Greek mythology is certainly fascinating.
However, the annoying gospel choirish cast at the beginning (and serving as narrator) is ridiculous and some of the colors of the kingdom of the gods seem...well...fruity.
