Review of Hercules (2014) by Bryan K — 02 May 2011
90s Disney feature certainly has many clever laugh-out-loud moments and cultural references (courtesy directors John Musker and Ron Clements, who did the same thing in "Aladdin"), as well as artful animation and colorful characters (Hades, perfectly voiced by James Woods, steals the show). But suffers from elements that are (while meaningful) spiritually misguiding and will have parents of younger children scratching their heads. Violence level may make some viewers wonder why this film didn't get a PG-rating (which it probably should have).
