It's a bit of a cheesey take on a classic charecter(As are all disney films to some extent) but the film is still enjoyable and I think the number one reason it's great is because of James Wood's performance.
Like how Aladdin before it had Robin Williams who pretty much stole the show and made the film a classic(the other actors always did great too but Robin's stands out) this is the same Sure the other actor's do a great job at their lines and etc.
But James pretty much steals the whole show with his performance.
