Review of Hercules (2014) by Jackson W — 18 Nov 2011
Hercules has to be the least ambitious Disney film ever to be made, and definitely of the renaissance. To me, it just never really stood out as a film that was on par with the classics surrounding it. It is memorable however to the signature 90's dash of computer animation and sprightly-colored drawings, and the Gospel singing Muses.
And we can all agree that star power in Disney films shines here with Danny DeVito as Phil and James Woods putting on a show as Hades.
