Review of Hercules (2014) by Phillipe H — 27 Nov 2011
This pop-culture inspired version of the Greek fable is pleasing as a comedy and a musical. Although it hits nowhere close to the original Disney classics, it deserves a place on its own for the musical amalgam of Soul/Gospel with its Greek themes.
Wonderfully cast, and an unforgettable voice acting from James Woods from Hades, this is a successful drink from Disney's blender.
