Maybe as a kid I would have like this movie better. It just had too much gospel music (it just didn't fit), was too rushed, and wasn't serious enough to be epic. You don't have time or a serious enough mood to feel emotionally connected to the characters (except maybe Meg).
I kind of wanted to hear more about Hades' story. It's alright but is pretty shallow, cheap, and not great.
