Review of Hercules (2014) by Sydney S — 13 Jul 2013
I firmly believe that Hercules should be seen by every child no matter what age. Hell, even adults. It is a big part of history to know the Greek gods, even if their lives were made into a fictional musical-movie.
It's smart, shows bravery, courage, love, loyalty, growth, devotion, and betrayal. All things kids should get used to in life. Personally, my favorite part of the movie is the music. It has been 16 years since this movie came out and I still sing along with this movie.
It has an interesting storyline and is very funny no matter what age you are. Meg, the "damsel in distress" is another one of my favorite points of the movie because she's not like all the other Disney damsels in distress.
She knows what being hurt has felt like and she is very much relatable to most girls and women over the age of 14. She is not the average girl, she does not wait for the prince to come save her, which is respectable.
All in all, this movie is a classic in my eyes and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
