Review of Herbie Rides Again (1974) by Leighton T — 06 Aug 2008
Silly and trite. The villain feels like an excessive copycat from the first, the cast is brand new, except for the car, and the story feels like something cranked out the day after the studio greenlit the sequel.
While enjoyable at times, mostly at the expense of Helen Hayes, I can't help but feel most of the true charm is gone from the first.
