Review of Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo (1977) by Trisha W — 28 Apr 2008

This Herbie movie was about average for what I was expecting. I wasn't looking for much more than a good entertaining film, and this pretty much summed it up. There seemed to be lots of ties between this film and and the newest one that came out much more recently than the other slew.

With the love affair between the cars and the drivers especially. The visuals were still not so hot, but I'm sure great for the time. Especially the still car w/ moving screen is very annoying, as I don't see how it would have been that difficult to film out the back window.

But alas, without all the hard-core critiquing, the film was worth the hour-and-half time it spent to relax and just get to watch some old classic humor.
