Review of Herbie Fully Loaded (2005) by Eric H — 11 May 2013

The movie starts out with a cool opening which briefs you on the past movies, but semi-disaster struck when the actual movie started. First they had changed the look of the car by adding cheesy looking eyelids that blinked.

Then they proceeded to add in bad sound effects that made the car sound like a dog. And if that wasn't bad enough the CGI was the worst I've ever seen, god where is ILM when you need them? Those points aside the story was pretty good, though far from perfect, up until the point when Herbie races NASCAR.

Herbie was always an endurance road racer, not a "stock car". Why change that now? Of course Disney had to take this opportunity to cash in on one of the biggest sports in America rather than doing it right.
