As a children's movie it's fine.
But as a motorsport movie it is nonsense. It has a lot of inconsistencies to be considered a "serious" motorsport movie, but it's a lot of fun, and Herbie is one of the cutest characters I've seen in moviesAs a children's movie it's fine.

I give it a 6/10 for not being too harsh with a children's movie.
