Review of Her Night of Romance (1924) by Greg W — 04 Sep 2011
Very well crafted romantic silent about a young wealthy woman from America who has plenty of suitors, but all vying for her money rather than her love. A British Lord (Colman) does fall in love with her, but he is penniless.
Hijinks, shenanigans and misunderstandings - all the staples - are here with fine performances in the lead under good direction from Franklin. Definitely worth checking out, even if you are not a fan of silents.
