Sweet, beautifully filmed (imagine one of those adverts you see at the cinema for the latest camera phone or mobile devices..... only feature length) a slightly melancholy sci-fi set in not-so-distant future L.A.
Joaquin Phoenix is fantastic as lonely writer Theodore who develops an unlikely relationship with his newly purchased operating system called Samantha (seductively voiced by Scarlett Johansson).
Some may find it hard going.... yet 'Her' is one of those films.... that if you stick with.... you'll be rewarded.
