Review of Her (2013) by Glen8P — 12 Jan 2014
Aside from being the most unique "boy (sorta) meets girl" romance since "Mannequin", the movie "Her" is memorable for having the subtle futuristic backdrop (slightly reminscent of Tex Avery's "World of Tomorrow") as a character, for challenging your understanding (or lack thereof) of artificial intelligence, for great acting (Phoenix is flawless, and the stellar female support is delightfully Dunst-free), and for guilting my wife and me out of using our smartphones at dinner afterwards.
