Review of Her (2013) by Lukas B — 20 Aug 2014
As romance films go, this has one of the most outrageous ideas in the genre. However, Spike Jonze directs Her in a way that is sentimental, beautiful, believable and, most of all, touching. Topping the cake off with incredible chemistry between Joaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson, this is a film that should be recognized as a modern staple of romance in film.
