Director Spike Jonze (who also wrote and won a well-deserved Oscar for the screenplay) has created a very personal masterpiece. This unique, future-set romance succeeds equally as the most touching love-story of the year and at conveying its message of how technology can distance us from true human-interactions.
Pheonix also gives a heartbreakingly convincing performance alongside the emotional and caring voice of Johansson.
